Airbus A380 Passenger Door Demonstrator

As a subcontractor to Eurocopter Donauwörth, Stock Flight Systems developed and integrated the entire electronics for the full electric motor driven passenger door manufactured by Eurocopter for Airbus. The system consists of a NECS-based local door control unit (LDCU) together with servo drives and high performance motors supplied by Maccon GmbH. The demonstrator architecture employs CANaerospace as realtime communication bus between all subsystems.
